Personality:
Anastasia is selfish, utterly materialistic, and spoiled. Like her mother and sister, she can be very cruel. She is also somewhat dtzy, but can have her moments. And though she is on the side of evil, there are times when she isn't sure that her mother's methods were the right way to get their happily ever afters. She carries a lot of guilt over what happened to Cinderella and her husband, but won't admit it to anyone. So, she tries to repress that emotion and put up a facade of being the same old rotten, evil Anastasia. But this only makes her volatile, and depressed at times.

History:
Anastasia's father died when she was very young. For many years, it was just her, her sister, and her mother. But then one day, a man appeared in their lives--Cinderella's father. It was long before their parents were married. Anastasia had conflicted feelings about the marriage--she didn't want anyone trying to take her own father's place, but the man was very well off. And the fact there was another sister Drizella could pick on instead wasn't too bad either. A couple of years later, her stepfather died of an illness, and her mother was once again a widow. Lady Tremaine's splurging had left them with no choice but to let the servants go and use Cinderella as a maid instead. Anastasia didn't mind though. For the next several years, Anastasia and Drizella made Cinderella's life a living hell. In Anastasia's mind, it was better Cinderella than her.

Then came the day the royal letter came, declaring that a ball be held at the castle. She and her mother and sister were delighted at the chance to find rich husbands, maybe even the prince himself. But that was only the start of her family's troubles. The two ugly stepsisters were unable to catch the prince's eye, or any other's for that matter. So, the Tremaines returned home, dejected. The next day, the Grand Duke arrived, with a little glass slipper that would fit the foot of the girl the prince had fallen in love with at the ball. But despite their efforts, neither Anastasia nor Drizella could wear the shoe. But lo and behold, Cinderella arrived, tried it on, and it fit! Her stepsister was whisked away into her happily ever after, leaving behind the Tremaines for good...at least, that was what Cinderella thought.

After the war:
Not long after, a stranger came to the house. He was terrifying, with jagged teeth and blue flames for hair. He promised a happy ending for them, and revenge on Cinderella. Anastasia was uncertain, though and told her mother that it wouldn't be a good idea. Her mother didn't listen though, and took the deal. Smiling, the stranger produced a silver wand and placed it in her mother's hand. "Just say what you wish to happen, and it will be so." he instructed, then disappeared before their eyes.
Immediately, Lady Tremaine set about attacking the castle, intent on getting revenge. Before long, the castle was under their rule, and the former rulers were gone. Settling into castle life was pretty easy for Anastasia. Now, she had the most beautiful dresses, more servants to boss around, and could do whatever she wanted...but she wasn't as happy as she thought she'd be as a princess. Often, she snuck out to visit Cinderella's scarecrow to talk to her, though unsure if she could hear at all. And soon, Anastasia began to see things--Cindrella, once again human. Sometimes smiling, other times screaming at her for not stopping her mother. Now, she is unsure how long she can keep a hold on what sanity she has left...

Ruling Andalasia as princess, with her sister and mother.

Family:
Lady Tremaine became Queen, and she and her sister Drizella became princesses. Cinderella and her husband became scarecrows in a field, which Anastasia visited often out of guilt.

There was one man, a baker in town, that she had her eye on, but she has been forbidden to see him and doesn't know what has happened to him since the war.
