Personality:
Brave, tactful, determined, and confident of his abilities; Phoebus has acquired many of his gallant traits through his vast experiences in war. He over-thinks everything, and is always worrying about things. Nowadays he has grown to be more solemn, determined to successfully aid the rebel cause, and believes that because of his high position to his people, displaying a wrong set of emotions would cause mayhem. Although he is mostly serious nowadays, he is witty and still has a sense of humor, still trying to find the humor in appropriate situations. He doesn't show this side much, and he is often thought of as too serious by other people even though he really isn't.

History:
Phoebus was a renowned war hero, known for his bravery, and was called home to Paris to serve as Frollo's Captain of the Guard. Ultimately seeing Frollo's actions as unjust, he rebels against him and is branded a traitor. After being saved by the gypsy Esmeralda, he and Quasimodo seek out the Court of Miracles to warn Esmeralda and the other gypsies of Frollo's arrival. Frollo manages to trick Quasimodo, and he arrives with an army of one thousand men and seizes all the gypsies and prepares to execute Esmeralda later that evening. Quasimodo rescues Esmeralda and Phoebus breaks free and persuades the townspeople of Paris to rebel against Frollo and his guards and Frollo is defeated once and for all.

After the war:
Phoebus married Esmeralda, and had a son. One day, the news of war struck their settlement and their son and many others were taken and killed. After hearing news of rebels forming in the nearby Kelti, they and many others flocked to Kelti where they reunited with fellow gypsies and people they had met before, and all together they formed a large rebel group led by Clopin.

He is often seen as too serious by many people, but he is generally acquainted with everyone. He gets into arguments with other people often.

Loved ones/Crushes:
Esmeralda. He currently doesn't consider romance to be a high priority anymore.
